Where Hyperion workers live in Richland Parish

Meta's Hyperion campus sits in unincorporated Holly Ridge, in a parish of about 19,500 people. Officials told The Advocate in August 2026 that 8,000–10,000 workers are already on site. They are not all sleeping in one place. This is the pattern that showed up in reporting and on operator sites when we checked (Nov 5, 2026).

At the gate: Holly Ridge RV camps

Several dozen small RV camps have opened on farm plots. The best-documented open parks next to the site are Cotton Patch RV Park (about 120 sites, $1,000 a month including utilities and Wi-Fi, roughly 2 miles from the gate) and Boggy Bayou RV Park (75 furnished cabins advertised by the operator, plus more than 100 RVs reported across the road). Bring your own rig unless you are booking a cabin.

East toward Delhi: camps and mobile homes

Dunn Village near Delhi houses about 500 people in a contractor camp with a food hall from 4:30 a.m. Cook Creek Village is another Corporate Mobile Housing project on Cook Road. Antley Pines is a 10-home park of furnished 4-bed, 2-bath units about 15 minutes from the site; units were spoken for by deposits before they even arrived.

Rayville: the closest real town

Rayville is about five miles west of Hyperion. Cypress Brake and Bee Bayou give you monthly pads with a bit more of a town attached than Holly Ridge itself. See Rayville listings.

Contractor man camps

Out-of-town operators have built camps that can house hundreds of workers — The Advocate described camps of up to about 800, with security at the gate. Holly Ridge Lodge & RV Resort (Mammoth Industries) is a 130-acre lodge-and-RV complex under a services contract through December 2028. These are usually assigned through your contractor. Read each man-camp info page before you assume you can book.

Monroe, West Monroe and Vicksburg

If you want restaurants, grocery stores and a night off, crews lean toward Monroe (~30 minutes) or Vicksburg, MS (~1 hour), including group houses.
